Challenge

New sustainability regulations were landing on customers already stretched thin, and we were racing to ship AI features to help, at a point when Gen-AI itself was still too new to fully trust.

Approach

Beta customer validation surfaced the real gaps early, cheaper and faster than fixing them after launch. We held that line even under deadline pressure, protecting trust on both sides by testing before the rollout, not after.

15+

Years of Design

From print to digital to today's agentic AI: three technology shifts that taught me systems thinking and emotional intelligence matter more than any single tool.

8.5

Years Leading UX at SAP

Leading UX strategy across sustainability and enterprise finance products, including AI-supported budget tools.

End-to-End Flows Design-Gated

With SAP's central design team, I co-owned sign-off on each end-to-end flow and authored the SAP Product Standards documentation myself: what shipped, why, and which compromises to revisit later.

10+

Verticals Designed Across

From fashion marketing to app-controlled toy planes, to machine learning and sustainability at SAP and Fresenius Medical Care. I design for the problem, not the sector: investigation and validation beat assumed expertise every time.

50+

Research Sessions

Design Thinking workshop facilitation, qualitative user interviews, Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framing, moderated usability testing, and System Usability Scale (SUS) scoring.

Countries Called Home

Living in Rio, London, Berlin, and regular time with family in Oslo showed me how differently problems get seen and solved from place to place. Letting go of "knowing it all" is what turned that into curiosity, a skill that makes me a better designer.

What does complex, large-enterprise B2B SaaS experience actually give me, and would I still move fast enough for a smaller team?

How do I work when the brief isn't clear yet, and what part of the job do I enjoy most?

How do I actually strengthen a team, and will I get hands-on or mostly direct from a distance?

What did I do with the time between roles, where do I stand on AI, and what am I looking for next?

How has living abroad shaped me, both as a person and as a principal design lead?
