As Product Design Lead on a flagship AI sustainability reporting tool at SAP, I ran design and engineering in parallel and tested a deliberately minimal first version on real customers' live data. That approach avoided a significant rework cost and accelerated delivery.
Not every problem machine learning touches is one it should own. Screened from dozens of ideas down to the one problem only ML could genuinely solve, Anomaly Detection shipped and was featured live at SAP Sapphire, before the GenAI hype.
A competition among six teams from six countries, tasked with cutting transport CO2e by 20% in two years. Chosen as Decider, I kept the group focused on whether each idea would actually change behaviour, the question that led me to suggest gamification.
A solo project from a d.MBA cohort, still running as a personal lab alongside my day job. I built the business case, the behavioural model and the funding structure myself. The funding is the unsolved part, because restoration sits in a gap that commercial investment rarely reaches on its own.
