SmartBoat Product Identity Design

As Lead Designer at TobyRich I was closely working with the founder Uli and Toby, and have designed the company corporate identity from scratch. Part of my work was to design their products identity and develop marketing collaterals for meetings with investors, fairs and gamers events. Much of the Smartboat work was based on a experiment of textures created via Processing. The patterns were inspired by fluid and liquid elements, with a tech touch to communicate the field of smartphone controlled toys. There was always a balance between retro and futuristic style and the colours were also thought to communicate to a new generation of sailors.
